Trump Shrugs Off Swift’s Potential Lawsuit Over AI Images

Ex-President Donald Trump is unfazed by a possible lawsuit by pop sensation Taylor Swift. This comes after a controversy erupted over recent social media posts by Trump featuring AI-generated images purporting to show Swift endorsing him in the 2024 presidential election.

In an exclusive interview with Grady Trimble on Fox Business Network, Trump expressed that he really wouldn’t be bothered if Swift decided to take legal action against him

When Trimble questioned him about the possibility of a lawsuit, Trump brushed off the idea of it, saying, “I don’t know anything about them, other than somebody else generated them. I didn’t generate them… These were all made up by other people.”

His response is casual, indicating that he perceives the issue to be more of a problem to the third party than to him.

But Trump didn’t stop there.

He took the opportunity to share larger concerns about the role of AI and deepfakes. “AI is always very dangerous in that way,” Trump said, sharing his concerns on how those technologies can be misused. “It’s happening with me, too. They’re making me speak perfectly, endorsing other products and things.”. “It’s a little bit dangerous out there.”

His comments reflect his frustration with the way AI can distort reality and bend public perceptions.

As of Thursday morning, neither Taylor Swift nor her camp responded to the images or Trump’s comments.

The images in question, which were posted to Trump’s Truth Social account, featured a set of AI-enhanced images.

These ranged from pictures of people wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts to an even more memorable picture of Swift, personified as Uncle Sam, with an accompanying caption, imploring voting for Trump.

Amid all of this buzz, Swift has remained uncommitted to any candidate for the 2024 election.

It’s not the first time Taylor Swift has made waves in politics.

She came out to endorse Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential race and lambasted Trump over his handling of the George Floyd protests.

The current situation adds another layer to the ongoing conversation about the tangle of celebrity, politics, and technology in the digital age.
