How to UTS App Change Handset?

UTS Mobile App comes with the some latest additions in the new version with the aim of Enhancing the security. However the solid it as sound for security purposes it becomes a headache for many users.

Users who recently purchased a new phone or the Users who’re the phone is Lost/Stolen/Damage is not able to login into the UTS App using the same ID.

  • The second one is if you not have any active tickets.

If you are having an active ticket

If you are not able to use the UTS app on my new phone and want to know How to raise a handset change request for the UTS app?

Here are the steps that you need to Submit utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in mobile change request online.

  1. First, you have to Download UTC App on your new phone If you haven’t Download the Application till now.
  2. Once the Application is Downloaded make sure that you are Connected to the Internet and you have Enough balance to send SMS. Also, you should have the same Sim card in your Phone from which you created an account.
  3. If you Lost your Sim card, You have Skip this and Follow the steps mentioned in the Next heading.
  4. Login in using your Account.
  5. You won’t have to send the Message or Anything. This App will Automatically be sent and you will receive the OTP Code.
  6. Enter the OTP Code and now you can log in to your Account/App.

If you are not having an active ticket

You can change the Handset by UTC App itself simply by performing Login with your New phone. This process is the same as the mentioned steps above.

But you have to note that the new phone from which you are Trying to log in is to make sure that your Own phone. Do not try to Login from another person’s phone because the IMEI of the phone will be associate with your Account.

If you just lost your phone you have to Submit the Application for it on CCM/PM office along with Copy of FIR/CSR, Duplicate sim card request letter. It may take a few days to process this Application.

Why I am Getting IMEI already associated with another number? in UTS App?

This is a Common error and it’s part of the security measure Taken by the Developers to secure the user’s account.

As long as you have the Same Sim Card which you use at the time of Creating an account you are Fine. You can log in to your account.
