Here is how to Downgrade from iOS 16 to iOS 15.

If you just installed iOS 16 on your iPhone but after using it for a while you decided that it’s not working as expected for you, there is always an option to downgrade to the previous version.

Yes! If you no longer wish to use the latest available iOS version you can choose to go back to iOS 15.7 or iOS 15.6.1.

How to Downgrade from iOS 16 to iOS 15?

  1. First head over to this website – https://ipsw.me/.
  2. Choose the product that you are using, in your case it is an iPhone.
  3. Next, it will show you a list of available phones. Choose the one you are using.
  4. Choose the version that you want to downgrade.
  5. Tap on the Download button.
  6. Wait till the download is finished.
  7. Plug your iPhone into the computer. Open iTunes and tap on the iPhone icon there.
  8. There click on the ‘Restore iPhone’ button. If you are using windows hold shift when you click. For Mac hold alt/option.
  9. Choose to erase and restore your iPhone.
  10. Tap on restore to finally begin the process.
  11. It will take some time and your phone will restart multiple times.
  12. Once finished you will get your old iOS 15 back on your phone.

Following the steps above, you can revert back to the previous version.
