A Card – Stands for Antyodaya Anna Yojana. Those who have this card are considered the poorest of the poor, and receive much larger benefit compare to any other card.

Anyone eligible who are living in West Bengal can apply for WB Digital BPL card anytime online.

The পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ডিজিটাল রেশন কার্ড Scheme is to support the supply of food and grain by the Department of Food and Supplies, Govt. of West Bengal.

So if you are a resident of West Bengal state then you can apply for this card to get food items at a subsidized price.

Apply for BPL ration card in West Bengal

If you have not had BPL or AAl card then this is how you Apply for a BPL ration card in West Bengal online-

First Head over to www.wbpds.gov.in using your Web browser.
Now you are on the Department of Food & Supplies Government of West Bengal official website.
There on the Left side, You will see the Option of “Ration Card”.
Hover your mouse over it, and Choose to apply online.
You have to choose “Apply for new Card for Family” for Apply for the new card.
You have to Fill up the Form-3 and Submit it online along with all of the required documents.

WB Digital Ration Card Application form

Referred to as E-Ration Card is simply a PDF document that is issued Government of West Bengal.

It is just your regular card but in PDF format which can be carried anywhere on your mobile phone.

Even, if it is in just Digital PDF format, it shall have the same right as a normal BPL or AAL Ration card.

You don’t need to fill up any application, You don’t need to apply again anywhere to Download it.

You just have to head over to the official portal and download it on your mobile or PC.

How to get a digital ration card

To get this card in the PDF format existing cardholder simply have to follow the process that I am going to mention down below-

Process for West Bengal Digital Ration Card download

First Visit official portal – food.wb.gov.in.
On the Left sidebar Hover on the Ration card.
Now Click on the e-Ration card.
You will found yourself on the webpage where guidelines, Terms, and features it is mentioned.
Scroll down to the bottom of that page.
You will see a Link in Green Color labeled as “Click to Download e-Ration card.”.
Under the heading আবেদনকারী অবশ্যই নিজের মোবাইল নম্বর দেবেন, provide your mobile number.

Make sure that the mobile number that you enter there is the same one that is already attached.

You will receive the OTP Code, upon verifying the OTP you will able to West Bengal Digital Ration Card download.

Save this digital copy on your mobile phone.
