Many of the users have reported that changing the year to 2023 instead of the current year 2024, allows them to use the app without any issue.

How to Fix Galaxy Wear App Not Opening?

To Fix the Galaxy Wear app not working, not opening, or simply crashing on your Phone you simply have to do one simple thing; Change the date in your Smartphone and set it before 31st, December 2023.

Once that is done make sure that the “Automatic Date and Time” setting is off.

By doing this you will be able to open the open. Once the app successfully opens on your Samsung or Pixel device you can enable the automatic date and time change for your phone to fetch and set the current date.

Here is this fix in more detail and step by step so you can follow through easily –

  1. First, unlock your phone where the app is installed and head over to Settings > System > Date and Time.
  2. Now you will notice an option “Set time Automatically” by default it is turned on on most phones. You have to turn it off.
  3. Once the “Set time Automatically” has turned off. The feature set Date and time manually will be enabled for you.
  4. Set the date to 31 December 2023 and the time to anything you like.
  5. Now close the Settings app. Tap on the recent button and clear all the recent apps.
  6. Open your Galaxy Wear app on the phone and see that it’s working now.

Once you can open your Galaxy Wearable app without any error, Just reboot your phone.

After reboot head over to Settings> System> Date and time again and toggle on the “Set time automatically”.
