Google recently updated the YouTube app for mobile phones and in this update user is able to see how much time they spend on Watching YouTube video. There is new option added beneath the Profile icon menu in the Youtube app. So in case, you wanna know how much time you spend on YouTube and wants to decrease it then this option will be helpful for you.
YouTube time watched is the new option and according to Google, this new feature will tell you how much time you actually spend on YouTube. Along with the new feature, one other feature “Reminder” is added as well which helps you to Remind to take breaks in case if you want.
Both of the options can be accessed via Clicking on the Profile icon which you will locate on the upper right corner after opening the Youtube application.

How to check how much time spend on watching videos
- First of all, you have to update to the latest version of YouTube from google play store or IOS app store.
- Once your app updated to the latest version then you have to open the app.
There is the possibility that you will get the notification on the home page just after opening the app but in case you not or missed it then you have to tao on the profile icon which is located on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Once you tap on that you will be redirected to the new page where you will be able to see this new option which is labeled as “Time Watched”.
- This is the option which we are looking for, once you click on that then you will be able to see how much time you spend on Watching Youtube videos.
One thing that you have to keep in mind that it will show you the overall time that you spend on watching Youtube videos whether it on your phone, computer, tablet or any other device which linked on the same youtube account.
