It means all of the New sim card will have 13 Digit number instead of Traditional 10 digit number. Old users who are using 10 Digit mobile number also have to Migrate their mobile numbers before the Last date of 2018, 31st December.
Well According to the Department of Telecom (DOT) they wants to provide better security features that’s why they come up with the Concept that every mobile number of this Country will have 13 Digits instead of Traditional 10 digits.
This Rule will be apply for New users as well as all Existing users. According to the announcement from DOT The new sim card will have 13-Digits number starting from July 2018.
