That’s why after making available the Hawkeye App by following the footsteps of Hyderabad police Bengaluru Police also launched their own SOS Application The Suraksha App. This App works on the same concept of Woman Safety App where we can Connect with Polish in case of any emergency in just one Click.
As per the Google Play store description of this Application After Pressing the SOS button a Small 10-second video clip will be recorded, Uploaded and send to the Police. In case of any emergency, this Short video Clip helps them understand the situation and act according to them. During Uploading the Video Clip this Application will also Send the location of yours. For Successful location sharing you also have to make sure to Keep enabled the Location sharing and Provide this App location access.
If you do not enable the Location sharing then this Application will not work as intended.

- This App will Trigger the Alert After the User press the Power Button 5 Times.
- The Clip will be Recorded and will be Sent to the Bengaluru Police headquarters. From there they will send any help.
- This App has real-time Tracking System which uses GPS. Of course, to Share Your Location and Make sure that polish can detect your location. You have to enabled Location sharing all the Time.
- Pressing the SOS button will trigger Police to Assist you in case of emergency, So make sure that what you are Doing before pressing it.

You have to install the App first for your Mobile phone. You can Download Suraksha App for Android from the Google Play store.
- Once you install the Application then you have to Register an Account.
- Finish the Configuration and You are ready to use the Application after Propper setup.
To make this Campaign more successful they also decided to make a Policewoman available near the Schools, Woman’s colleges, Temples, Shoppings Malls and any other Sensitive areas so Police can assist as soon as possible.
