Here in this post, I am Going to tell you about the TRAI Channel Selector App launched by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (In short: TRAI). This mobile application is the official mobile App, Which is launch by them to help the DTH and Cable users to help to Select the Channel that they Actually want to Watch.

If you are DTH or Cable consumer you know about the TRAI’s regulation where it strictly gives instructions to all of the DTH And Cable providers in our country to give consumers the power to Choose Channels as per their wish.
It means that if you want you are Able to Select individual channels as per your Wish and you will be paying only for those Channels. Before this Rule, the operators provide the Channel as per their wish and you will be bared to pay for also the Channels that you actually never watch or Want to watch.
For Example, if you belong to the Hindi speaking region and your Cable/Dth provider provides you Tamil channels and you don’t speak or know Tamil then they will be no use for you. But at the same time, you are Paying for those channels even you don’t want to watch it.
That’s the thing TRAI’s new regulation has changed. Now you are Free to Choose any channel and make your own pack. It’s will save your money and give you more freedom on the Content that you want to watch on Tv.

This App is an official App launched by TRAI, However, it is not recommended by us. If you really want to Choose the Channels as per this new rule; Its better to use your DTH provider’s official App/Website to Choose the Channels and Make your own pack.
That will be a better option. This App is not Good as it supposed, However, it’s your choice to use. So we suggest you try it, if it does not work for you then you can uninstall it.
